Security Officer Arrested for Sexual Exploitation
(PA) – Rickey Williams, a security officer with Dauphin County, was arrested on four felony charges related to his attempted sexual exploitation of a minor. Williams engaged in a conversation on Snapchat with what he thought was a 14-year old child. During the conversation, Williams attempted to get the child to take of a video of her urinating. He even offered to come take the video for her.
The “child” Williams was texting with was actually an undercover police officer who was monitoring Snap Chat. Child predators like Snap Chat because videos delete after they have been viewed. It’s a good way to get rid of evidence. A criminal complaint was filed and Security Officer Rickey Williams was arrested on April 13.
Williams has Capitol Riot Connections
According to ABC 27, “Sources tell abc27 News Williams is the father of 22-year-old Riley Williams, the woman accused of stealing Nancy Pelosi’s laptop.” This is a surprising development. I have to wonder if Riley’s attorney will use her father’s arrest to help in her case. Maybe he will he claim she suffered child abuse at the hands of her father. If so, a judge will have to decide if she has mental issues because of the child abuse. It could possibly get her a reduced sentence. Something to watch for.
Low Bail Bond for Four Felony Charges
Rickey Williams, who mainly worked security in the Dauphin County Human Services building, was suspended without pay upon arrested. 55-year old Williams was charged with “knowingly or permitting a child to film a computer sex act, communication with a minor/sexual abuse; criminal use of a communication device and criminal solicitation.” An online search shows those to be second degree felonies. Though Williams was charged with four felonies from his sexual exploitation attempt, he got a ridiculously low bail bond. According to ABC 27, “Williams is out on $2,500 unsecured bail. His preliminary hearing is set for April 26.”
