Mail Supplies

The Bexar County Jail does not allow mail supplies to be sent to inmates.  All supplies must be bought from commissary.  The Jail commissary carries stationary, envelopes and stamps.  It may seem that the Sheriff’s Office is just trying to make more money off of the inmates but this is actually a safety issue.  Various drugs can be soaked into the paper.  The glue on the envelopes and stamps is another place that drugs can be added.  You can add money to an inmate’s commissary so he can buy stationery and other items.

Girlfriend – For ways to add money to commissary go to the category titled “Money For Commissary”. Click on it. The page that comes up will have links on different ways you can add money to his commissary account. He will receive your letter if you have addressed it correctly and he can write back to you.

I am preparing to send a book to my brother from Penguin Random House publishers, and the way you fill out the address does not allow for 5 lines, as the proper way indicated on this website. How should I address this?
