12/09/2013 – Deputy Shoots Suspect
A Bexar County deputy shot a suspect in the arm and hand. Roy Alvarado was driving erratically and was being chased by SAPD officers. SAPD asked Bexar County for help. County deputies joined the chase laying down spike strips. Once the vehicle was stopped deputies approached it at which time Alvarado put the car in reverse and rammed the County units. A Bexar County deputy, who has not been identified, shot Alvarado. Alvarado was then taken into custody.
