09/05/2018 – Bexar Deputy Arrested for Assaulting Inmate
Bexar County Deputy Ta-Vian Gloeckler was arrested on Wednesday after he assaulted an inmate. Gloeckler took his shirt off then attacked the inmate. The fight did not go as Gloeckler planned. Once he began losing to the inmate Gloeckler stopped fighting and indicated he was surrendering. Gloeckler then threatened the inmate with more charges if he said anything about the fight. The incident was captured on video. Gloeckler has been charged with Assault and Official Oppression.
